About Lisa Jones-Butz

Lisa Jones-Butz has styled her career in the beauty industry for over 30 years, building her success from a creative platform including an array of media outlets, in-salon education and salon proprietorship.  She still spends her time working not only as a freelance hair and make-up artist behind the scenes, but also behind the chair, currently holding the position of artistic director at Brocatos Salon Collective.

Lisa has created her reputation and credibility via well-earned opportunities and has honed her skills with an impressive portfolio of successful endeavors that include:

• Creator, writer and producer, The Style File, a makeover/fashion column in a large local magazine, Harford’s Heart.  Lisa coordinated and collaborated with talented photographers, fashion stylists, make-up artists, and other hair stylists to produce bi-monthly articles.
• Educator and platform artist for Sachajuan, Rusk and The Wella Corporation, specializing in coloring, cutting and styling. Created editorial-runway looks and creative techniques to teach in classrooms and to large audiences of hairstylists, as part of their continuing education.
• Co-created and co-produced the Fox 45 “Monday Morning Makeover,” co-hosted with Debbie Federico.

Wife, Mother, and World Traveler

In addition to continuously stylizing her career, Jones-Butz is a world traveler, wife and mother.  Born with an innate wanderlust, Lisa’s passion for travel and sailing is an integral part of her life. Always combing cultures and locations for new artistic inspirations, Lisa is a worldwide traveler, on the move with her crew – her husband and three children. Having returned from a 3-year travel hiatus, Lisa not only holds a 100-ton merchant mariner captain license, but she is also back in high demand with her fresh creative concepts.

Lisa is well-known for her accomplishments, making her a respected and highly sought-after stylist in all areas of coiffure.
